Oh What A Year It’s Been…

Well, 2012 has officially packed it’s bags and moved out, and 2013 is trying to settle in.

For me, and the whole Peanizles gang, 2012 was a big, big year, and 2013 has some big shoes to fill. The biggest of which, is that Peanizles has joined forces with Hound Comics. Hound Comics is an international entertainment, comic and book publishing company. Their goal is to gather together the greatest collection of creative, talented people, and allow them to produce a diverse array of comic books, comic strips, children’s book, and animations available today. And I am honored to be a part of something so big and unique in publishing today. There, are many projects in the works right, now, most of which are still in development and as soon as I can tell you more specifics on what is coming your way in 2013, you better believe you’ll find out first, right here! So, in the meantime, head on over to Hound Comics and check out the great collection of artists, writers, and amazingly creative people I am proud to be a part of!

Happy Birthday Stan!

That’s right true believers! Stan, The Man, Lee, turned 90 today! The man responsible for creating such long-lasting characters as Spider-Man, The Hulk, Reed Richards, Sue Storm, the ever loving Ben Grimm, Johnny Storm, The X-men, and so many, many more. And so, in appreciation for all of his work, MTV and Stan Lee himself invited a handful of artists to help him celebrate this milestone birthday, by drawing him and some of his characters. And I had the unbelievable honor of being asked to participate, and to include the Peanizles gang in this birthday wish.

So head on over to the MTV website and check out my contribution, and tip of the hat to Stan Lee. And don’t forget to check out the work of Marc Silvestri, Dan Panosian, Camilla D’Errico, Ozzie Martin, Kieth Brown, and Sajad Shah.

Trick Or Treats!

Happy Halloween Peanizles fans!

Chuck and the gang wanted to show off this year Halloween costumes, just before they hit your house for some candy. There’s Chuck dressed in his best Hellboy, and B.P.R.D. gear, complete with giant red hand (all the better to get more candy with); Succotash dressed as his favorite vagabond Timelord, the ever-loving Eleventh Doctor, from the BBC’s Doctor Who; Grace is just purr-fect in her black cat suit, performing her best Catwoman impersonation; Nick, the stick figure dresses as he does every year, the timeless Hobo; J.R. is doing his best Spaceman; while Oliver, the Monster, just went as himself!

Enjoy, and make sure to give out the good candy this year. But, make sure to save a piece for yourself.

Go Comics Go!

Peanizles not only appears here, on the Peanizles comic website, but it also appears on many other website’s and in print, and one of those other websites is the Comic Sherpa pages of the Universal Comics Syndicate’s website.

Last Wednesday, one of Universal’s editor’s, Gene Willis, wrote a nice piece on their blog about Peanizles and how it’s one of his “secret” favorite comics. It was really great to see such esteemed editor’s picking my humble comic strip, to be one of his favorite’s out of so many. Head on over and catch the whole article!
